About
Margaret Bryden MBA, CMHC
Therapy is a journey of self-discovery, growth, and transformation—and I’m here to walk that path with you. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which helps uncover and heal the deeper patterns that shape thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. While understanding the root causes is essential, I also incorporate evidence-based techniques from CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, and the Gottman Method to create a well-rounded, personalized approach tailored to your needs.
I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples navigating challenges such as trauma, PTSD, addiction, and relationship struggles. My practice is an open, affirming space where clients from all backgrounds—including LGBTQ+, Ex-LDS, religious, non-religious, and non-monogamous individuals— can explore their experiences without judgment. Whether you're looking for deep insight, practical tools, or both, my goal is to support you in breaking free from old patterns and stepping into a more fulfilling, authentic life.
My educational background includes a B.A. from UC Berkeley, an MBA from San Jose State University, and an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Westminster University. I’ve worked in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings, providing trauma-focused care to individuals and couples seeking meaningful change.
If you’re ready to explore, heal, and grow, let’s begin this journey together.
